EMPOWERMENT WELLNESS CHALLENGE
Together, we are stronger, wiser, and more courageous than we realize.
WE GOT THIS!
Welcome to the Empowerment Wellness Challenge! This challenge is for participants, staff, family, and friends of our Empowerment community. In today's world with COVID19, we are experiencing isolation from our loved ones, community, and support systems. We hope to create a supportive place for us to make changes to help support our health, wellness, and personal empowerment. Challenges are not necessarily fitness related, we are strengthening our minds and bodies by practicing self-care and engaging in community support.
Set goals, not limits: Our minds tend to get hung up on what we can't do, our current limitations -- how we can't run a mile without stopping, how we still can't touch our toes after all these years. Choose to see these obstacles as opportunities to set goals for yourself that match your abilities and desires.

Every Friday, a new set of challenges will be e-mailed to you. Please register at the bottom of this page.
WEEK 2 - January 8-14, 2021
Challenge #1: Do something kind for someone without telling them you did it.
Challenge #2: Have a difficult conversation with a person you’ve been putting off.
Challenge #3: 10 sit-ups each day for 1 week.
Already do sit-ups or have physical limitations to sit-ups? Find something you've been wanting to add into your daily routine that you don't normally do.
*You should consult your physician or other health care professional before starting this or any other fitness program to determine if it is right for your needs.
