From the Executive Director
We’ve always been about connection at Empowerment. That hasn’t changed. Staying connected is a way to stay grounded and keep your mind and body in a steady, calm place. As we navigate our way through these uncharted waters, we’re finding new, creative ways to provide services and stay connected because we’re here for you!
To ensure we are supporting the health and well-being of our participants, staff, families, community partners, volunteers, and ideally the population at large, Empowerment has made the decision to temporarily close our location at 1600 York Street until further notice. We are making these decisions based on the information we currently have and recommendations from various federal, state, and local experts and authorities regarding COVID-19: Empowerment team members will be moving to a virtual working environment, you may reach staff by e-mail or phone. Find a directory in the Contact section of the website.
We got this. Together we are stronger, wiser, and more courageous than we realize.
